Planners would pay attention to the environment of the area because adding new space to a community means paying attention to the physical, social and economic environment too.
2. Planners would indulge few city residents with them too as this gives designers and city residents the chance to have a say in the city’s plans, thereby improving public awareness surrounding current plans.
3. Plans would be forward-thinking: An urban planning official will monitor population trends to determine the space needed for future constructions. If the population is going up and a developer wants to build apartment buildings downtown, they may need to build high-rises rather than smaller two-story buildings if they want to accommodate future growth. Similarly, increases in tourism would call for additional hotels and events venues.
4. Areas in need of renewal would be given consideration: Urban planners especially need to keep in mind the history of the area’s buildings. Although a building may be in disrepair, it could be a historic site or landmark. City residents may want to preserve the area in favour of building a new strip mall. Planners would also keep in mind the tax incentives available to different regions. Tax credits help fund sustainable or green designs and provide better access to public transportation or low- to moderate-income housing. Some incentives also help encourage small businesses to open in particular neighbourhoods’ or regions.
5. Zoning: Our city would be divided into suitable zones such as commercial zone, industrial zone, residential zone, and certain rules and regulations should be implemented for each zone.
6. Public buildings: would be well organised and distributed throughout the city. The unnecessary concentration of public buildings would be avoided. Factors such as parking facilities, road widths should be taken into consideration while allocating the space for public buildings.
7. Recreation centres: are essential while designing a city. They are necessary for the activities of the public that helps them to rejuvenate. They include parks, for walking, cycling, amusement parks etc.
8. The building departments would have to adhere by some rights and privileges related to fire protection, aesthetic condition, health and safety of the buildings
9. Planned for weather: Following physical considerations, interest in climate-sensitive urban design is on the rise in tangent with growing environmental concerns. As the environment changes, so must urban development.
Thus our city would be planned while keeping in mind the ever-changing weather effects to minimise their impact on residents of our city.
10: Security and safety: In our city at the gap of every 2 km one would find a police station, fire station and a small dispensary equipped with best facilities as security and safety is the most important thing for one to feel free.
11. Management Of Waste Generated and Regulation Of Water Supply: Waste management will be planned. Every resident will separate biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and then throw it into green and blue dustbins respectively. Vegetable peels and fodder will be transferred to cowsheds through a network of people. Recyclable material will be dealt through a network of rag pickers and dealers. Liquid waste will be transported through dedicated drains which will be cleaned by tanks and the water will be supplied again. Drinking water supply would be made by the government through separate channels. A storm system and maintenance systems will be installed.
