Congratulations on your new book! What an accomplishment! Also, your new website is great, too. I pray that people will learn of Jesus through the work that you do and that His blessings will abound in all you do! Kathy R.
Congratulations on your book!!!! May God bless you and your writings! Dorcus
I've only begun to work through your book of Bible studies about movies, & I feel so inspired. I started with movies I've already seen & I use your book as a personal devotional, but now I want to go watch all the other movies! It's a cool way to look at something I think many of us take for granted, & you're right - God totally uses our pop culture to His glory! The best part of this book is that it's helping me share my faith with my husband, who isn't exactly a believer, in a totally comfortable way. I look forward to reading more in your blog. Thanks for sharing your growth - we grow better with others! Dawn O.
Your book is amazing! I am in awe of your never-ending thirst for knowledge and in your talent for being able to see God in the simple and ordinary things that we usually take for granted - you are truly inspiring! Donna V.
I used one of the studies of your new book on a recent mission trip to Panama. The mission team really enjoyed the Wizard of Oz study. We were able to use different parts of the study to look at ourselves, the people we met in Panama as well as applying it to some of our personal experiences on the trip. All of the studies in your book are well rounded. It shows that you did your research, both Scriptural as well as research into the movies that you use. I look forward to using more of them for small groups as well as my own personal Bible studies. Rev. Larry Knobloch
First of all, if you are not a Christian, you probably won't enjoy Susan Maluschka's perspective; it is written for Christian movie-goers. However, if you are a Christian and you like to go to the movies, this is a great resource. I read her book this week and was very pleasantly surprised. It has an easy to follow format and covers many classics, such as The Blues Brothers and Miracle, children's stories, such as Big Hero 6 and The Wizard of Oz, and many other movies that we wouldn't think of as a traditional Christian move, but looks at the from a Christian perspective and makes you seriously think of some of the underlying themes in each one. I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it for use as a Bible study, movie class, or just as a personal guide to the movies. Jane O.
You have a wonderful gift and I am so happy to see you using it to the glory of the Lord. I wait for the next books.I really enjoy your blog. Glenda M.
