Bringing the Garden to You!

On-Site Therapeutic Garden Programming

These program services are provided on a weekly or monthly basis year round. They offer therapeutic gardening and nature-based activities in various settings such as homes, schools, community recreation areas, and healthcare facilities within the Twin Cities metro area. Activities interweave sensory exploration, reminiscing and storytelling with bits of education on garden tending, nutrition from the garden and discussion of past & current nature based leisure interests. Program goals include: promoting physical, mental & social activation, re-connection to nature, feelings of wellbeing & gratitude, stress reduction & fostering a sense of competency through engagement in purposeful activity. The program can be designed to address individual treatment goals upon request. Staff training is available to support garden maintenance as necessary. 

Programming cost is determined based on numbers of participants & sessions contracted. 

On-site garden design & installation cost is determined by size and breadth of garden features.

Supplemental grant & waiver funding may be available for individuals & groups in need.
