At GROW Clinical Psychology, we offer a range of Medicare-rebated, government-funded, and third-party funded psychology services to improve accessibility and affordability of care.
We support clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults, through a variety of funding pathways.
Medicare rebates are available for psychological therapy under the Better Access to Mental Health Care scheme.
To access these rebates, you will need a referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician. If referred by a GP, a Mental Health Treatment Plan must be completed prior to your first psychology session.
Eligible clients can access rebates for a range of clinically diagnosed mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and other recognised disorders.
This program provides access to subsidised psychological treatment to support improved mental health and wellbeing.
Medicare rebates may also be available under government-funded early intervention programs for children with autism and developmental differences (previously known as Helping Children with Autism).
This pathway supports assessment and intervention services for eligible children referred by a paediatrician or psychiatrist, within defined age and session limits.
Additional Medicare-funded psychology services are available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients who have completed a GP health assessment and require follow-up allied health support.
This provides access to additional subsidised sessions each year to support holistic health and wellbeing.
We also provide psychology services for clients funded through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), supporting eligible veterans in accessing psychological care.
