GROW-RI is a progressive company focused on Robotics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence. We are seeking experienced independent sales representatives to sell products and services into the rapidly emerging indoor farming industry. Vertical farms come in different shapes and sizes, from simple two-level or wall-mounted systems to large warehouses several stories high or even shipping containers. The global indoor farming technology market was estimated at USD 14.5 billion in 2020 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 9.4%, to reach USD 24.8 billion by 2026. In indoor farming, a wide variety of crops such as leafy vegetables, herbs, vegetables, fruits, microgreens, and flowers can be grown. Indoor vertical farming systems provide organic food that is not contaminated with agrochemicals. As such indoor and vertical farming is more sanitary. Additionally, uncoupling the traditional need for large open space, unlike traditional farms, an indoor farm can be located anywhere including urban centers. This provides tremendous benefits by reducing the transportation factor, meaning the consumer has access to a fresher product that hasn't been forced to conform to shipping requirements. More importantly, economically disadvantaged families living in urban centers typically do not have the same kind of access to fresh quality produce to suburban and rural habitation. These are just some of the important distinctions driving indoor & vertical farming market along with the increasing consumer demand for pesticide- and herbicide-free food.


The indoor farming focus is to bolster local food supplies and provide nutritious, fresh produce to consumers. In addition to food another attractive crop for indoor growers is cannabis which is a significant segment of this industry.


GROW-RI is looking for a results-driven, enthusiastic, independent sales representative to drive company sales by persuading customers to purchase our products. The independent sales representative’s responsibilities include managing customer relationships, identifying networking opportunities, answering customers' questions, and finding new customers through cold-calling, emailing, and social media advertising. You should also be able to implement effective sales strategies to continually meet or exceed sales quotas.


We offer a generous commission structure with unlimited earning potential.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying potential customers through networking and following leads.

  • Arranging meetings with potential and existing customers to present company products.

  • Persuading customers to purchase company products by highlighting product benefits and key features.

  • Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers.

  • Negotiating pricing with suppliers and vendors to encourage purchases.

  • Promptly submitting purchase orders to the relevant department for processing.

  • Following up with customers to inquire into whether purchased products meet their expectations.

  • Filling out the necessary paperwork and obtaining customers' signatures to complete each sale.

  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving complaints.


Qualifications for Sales Representative

Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

2-4 years of sales experience

Excellent interpersonal skills

Highly self-motivated

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

A background in engineering or agriculture would be ideal
