What if... the general public had 100% control over where their money went?
The goal:
- Create momentum to divest the local community from credit cards.
- Educate local people about the financial systems they are a part of.
- Connect financial choices to climate change in the public mindset.
The research: We've written a 20-page booklet to educate local business owners on how credit cards damage local economies.
The experiment:
- Deliver booklets with form letters to 20-30 local businesses to see who might want to get on board with one of 5 suggested actions to encourage cash use.
- If the project is successful, list these people on future materials as already part of the project.
