GroTrees, as you would have gathered, was started by District 9685's Rotary Club of Chatswood Sunrise. The sun set on the Club in 2020/2021! Bob has now joined North Ryde Rotary. He is hoping that other Clubs will establish their own GroTrees project and green the world, one tree at a time. Here are the steps for setting this this up.
Contact Bob (peternathan64@gmail.com) and he will send you the template for the GroTrees certificate and an Excel register. You will be able to edit the details.
Print and mail it to someone who has bought a tree. (Cost of a purchased tree is $20.) You might consider some nice paper (at least 120 gsm) for this.
Present the certificate to your guest speaker as a "thank you."
Continue to support Lithgow-Oberon Landcare or find another area's Landcare group. If the former, Bob will send you the email contact details.
Make a donation to Landcare by asking them for an invoice, either based on a number of trees @ $5 each or just make a straight donation. (In the past, Chatswood Sunrise asked for an invoice twice a year for 100 trees @ $5.)
