The Workshop

Groovy Hands Drum Workshops is a brilliant new initiative created and facilitated by Dave Morrissey and based in Limerick but available nationwide. With over thirty years experience in the music industry as a drummer, singer songwriter and producer under his belt, Dave brings a vast level of experience to this venture!


The Mission Statement for Groovy Hands Drum Workshop is to draws on all participants’ natural enthusiasm for music & rhythm and demonstrates the many benefits that can be gained from listening, learning, playing and participating in groups using the medium of music; the universal language for all.


Everything from the one off daily taster workshop to longer programs can be tailored to suit weekly or term time durations. All ages and groups; preschool to corporate, can be catered for with a large selection of colourful African hand drums and percussion instruments provided.


The workshops are versatile & adaptable and have proven to be a huge success. Workshops are delivered on an hourly basis per group with various fun drumming activities and rhythms suited to all age groups, abilities & ethnicities filled with high entertainment and engagement
