FIXING WONDERLAND
With the start of the school year comes learning about history and helping keep old legacies alive!
Formerly the Land of Desolation, Lark helped a group of misfits at Grimm create a new and exciting adventure, Wonderland! With the history of the original creators and most recently of a wondrous adventurer named Alice, the world has evidence of the games and madness well known to many.
However, now it seems that the world has begun to slowly revert back to the former state of despair. With the fiery rock and soul filled darkness encroaching on what is left of Wonderland it is up to Grimm Academy to figure out how to protect the remaining land.
Luckily, Lark has spent time searching for a solution to fix the world and let the citizens of Wonderland return. She is tasking the students with exploring the world and collecting the things that made Wonderland home for the habitants both past and present.
Hurray! Now with Wonderland and the Land of Desolation living in harmony, the students of Grimm Academy can go back and forth between worlds knowing that Wonderland is a hub of safety from the harm caused by the Land of Desolation. To access the nether from here on out students will have to enter using the newly unplugged wishing well.
During this quest information that players discovered include:
why Wonderland was slowly reverting back to its old state madness, is mostly related to the tinkering of magic using the linden paper to transform the world from desolation to happy go lucky insanity. Lark has been messing with Wonderland’s state ever since she helped Alice integrate herself into the story of the world. In creating the ability for another to enter a pre-existing story and almost overwrite what those before came up with, Wonderland has been following more of Alice’s ideas of her adventures in the world. So essentially, Wonderland is becoming what it was to Alice, a dream.
actual material objects including diaries and letters about the world before and after Alice which explain how the magic of Wonderland changed and evolved/devolved.
The original stories written by the original residents of wonderland, are broken. Because their futures were changed by Alice, their stories no longer appear to be valid in the world of grimm which is also affecting the current state of the dimension.
The power hub of wonderland is the book that binds the story of the original residents. Alice’s story took over as the power hub as the most recent iteration of the world.
