GridGenius is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how
we handle your information.
DATA COLLECTION
GridGenius does not collect, store, or transmit any user data to external
servers. The app operates entirely on your device.
We do not collect:
- Personal information
- Photos or images you add to the app
- Usage statistics or analytics
- Device identifiers
- Location data
- Contact information
- Any other user data
LOCAL STORAGE
All data you create in GridGenius is stored locally on your device using iOS
standard storage APIs. This includes:
- Photos you add to your grid
- Post captions and hashtags
- Scheduling information
- App settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third
parties.
PHOTOS ACCESS
GridGenius requests permission to access your photo library solely to allow you
to select images for your grid planning. Photos you select are copied into the
app's local storage. We never upload, share, or transmit these photos.
You can revoke photo library access at any time through iOS Settings. This will
prevent you from adding new photos but will not affect photos already in your
grid.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable post reminders, GridGenius uses iOS local notifications to alert
you at scheduled times. These notifications are generated entirely on your
device and do not require internet connectivity or server communication.
Notification content stays on your device and is never transmitted externally.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
GridGenius does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics
platforms, advertising networks, or social media APIs. The app operates in
complete isolation.
We do not use:
- Analytics services
- Crash reporting tools
- Advertising networks
- Social media SDKs
- Cloud storage services
DATA SHARING
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user information because we do not
collect any user information. Your data belongs to you and stays with you.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
GridGenius does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The
app does not collect information from users of any age. Parents can safely
allow children to use the app knowing their privacy is protected.
DATA SECURITY
Since all data is stored locally on your device, data security is managed by
iOS security features including device encryption, app sandboxing, and secure
storage APIs.
We recommend:
- Using device passcode or biometric authentication
- Keeping your iOS version updated
- Only downloading apps from the official App Store
DATA DELETION
To delete your data, simply delete the GridGenius app from your device. This
removes all posts, photos, settings, and other information stored by the app.
The deletion is immediate and permanent.
You can also clear specific data through the app's Settings screen using the
Clear All Posts option.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app or legal
requirements. Updates will be posted within the app and on the App Store
listing. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the
updated policy.
