I am currently an Assistant Professor in Tenure Track (RTT) at the University of Enna Kore (Italy).
I am a researcher in Psycholinguistics whose work explores how people understand and produce meaning across different linguistic and cognitive contexts.
My work primarily focuses on Experimental Pragmatics, Second Language Acquisition, and Clinical Linguistics, with particular attention to language development in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
I was also involved in digital linguistics projects within the PNRR CHANGES program (2023-2026), dedicated to the preservation of Italian and Romance dialects through computational and corpus-based methodologies, and I continue to pursue related research in this area.
Previously, I held research positions at the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), supported by a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship, at the University of Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and at the University of Florence (Italy).
