The Grenada Christian Academy
The Grenada Christian Academy is proud to be able to part-take in the 2023 Inter Secondary School Athletic Championship. Affectionally known as “G.C.A. Airstrip Jets” due to the location of the school being near the Pearls Airport. The school is a champion in its own right, it is no secret that we struggled to get here today, especially amidst so many challenges. Nevertheless, our sports committee, believes in providing an opportunity for everyone and no matter how turbulent the ride may be, we believe that success only comes from Faith, Consistency and Hard Work.
Our sporting achievements at Grenada Christian Academy as one of the youngest secondary schools in Grenada (est. 2009) have been, not just outstanding but tremendous. We have demonstrated our sporting talents in all areas of sports in which we have participated, but more so, we have copped titles in football (1st place Junior), cricket (1st place junior and senior), basketball (2 times champion) and athletics. At the 2018 INTERCOL GAMES we placed 9th and 12th scoring a total of 81.5 points (out of 18 schools) and 49 points (out of 19 schools) in girls and boys respectively. Our sporting queen Kellieann Alexander was also able to win the female senior champs and scored a total of 32 points in that same year of Intercol.
