CHAMPS Information

CHAMPS Sessions will be Monday, July 22 & Tuesday, July 23 at

 SwimRVA 5050 Ridgedale Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23234

Parking is not allowed at Hening Elementary, Noble Daycare, or on the grass. There will be police patrolling.

Monday - July 22 

Session 1 - 9:30am

Ages 8 & under

Monday – July 22

Session 2 – 2:30pm

Ages 9 - 10

Tuesday - July 23

Session 3 - 10:00am

Ages 11-12

Tuesday - July 23

Session 4 - 1:30pm

Ages 13-18

We will need volunteers for CHAMPS. CAL assigns us positions we have to cover as a team for each session.

MITE/DECK PARENTS - Please do not leave your swimmers at the entrance door to the Clerk.  We ask that you please stay with all swimmers until they are inside the doors standing under their Heat # sign waiting to be organized.  Also, if your swimmers choose to wear their new Champs shirts, please write their names on them so that they do not lose them!  Deck Parents/Mite Parents should have extra sharpies on hand to mark arms and backs of swimmers for those who have not already done so and label t-shirts as needed.  Reminder to encourage your teams to clean up their areas after each session.  Anything left after the meet will be put in the Lost & Found at SwimRVA. 

NO ONE is allowed on deck unless you are a volunteer, swimmer or coach. Parents/spectators must sit upstairs in the mezzanine area. There will be someone at the door to the pool deck to send your swimmers to their correct seating area. Below is the SwimRVA layout. You can see where the swimmers will be seated and also see where the stairs are to access the spectator seating area. 

GPST Deck Assignment 

There will be concessions served both days to include light snacks and drinks.  Personal pan pizzas will be available for purchase on Sunday and Chick-fil-a will be available for purchase on Monday.
