Field Experience

  • As a researcher at FHI 360, led and monitored research studies in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, India, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and the United States.

  • Lived 12 months in coastal Ecuador conducting an ethnographic investigation on the political ecology of aquaculture and artisanal shrimp fishing.

  • Lived five months in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico implementing an ethnographic study on Maya belief systems.
