Hello, I am Dr. Remi Fafore, the founder of Greenwood Spaces and Greenwood Interior Academy. My journey as an entrepreneur, business strategist and educator has been shaped by a passion for creating beautiful spaces, building sustainable businesses and empowering people with the knowledge and tools to succeed.

My professional journey spans multiple disciplines, including technology, telecommunications, business management, sales, marketing analytics and interior design. This multidisciplinary background has influenced the way I approach entrepreneurship, education and business development.

From Vision to Enterprise

My entrepreneurial journey began with Greenwood Spaces, a bespoke furniture brand established to create thoughtfully designed furniture that combines beauty, functionality and quality craftsmanship. What began as a vision has grown into a business serving homeowners and clients who value carefully crafted spaces and furniture.

Building Greenwood Spaces taught me that running a successful business requires more than a good product. It requires strategic thinking, financial discipline, customer understanding, operational excellence, effective marketing and a commitment to delivering value.

These lessons helped shape my vision for Greenwood Interior Academy.

Building the Next Generation of Interior Designers

Driven by a desire to share knowledge and create opportunities for others, I founded Greenwood Interior Academy to provide aspiring interior designers and entrepreneurs with practical training, professional guidance and a deeper understanding of the industry.

Over the past two-plus years, Greenwood Interior Academy has trained more than 500 students, helping aspiring designers develop their skills, explore opportunities and take steps towards their professional ambitions.

My vision extends beyond teaching students how to design beautiful spaces. I want them to understand the business behind the creativity: how to position their services, communicate with clients, approach project costing, understand finance, build a portfolio and develop a sustainable professional pathway.

Through our Design Mastery and Design Business programmes, we aim to bridge the gap between creative ability and real-world application, equipping students with knowledge and practical experiences that support their growth.

A Multidisciplinary Approach to Business and Education

My background extends beyond interior design and entrepreneurship. I have professional training and certifications across technology, telecommunications, project management, digital marketing, financial analytics and marketing analytics.

My technical background includes experience in radio frequency engineering and telecommunications, alongside professional certifications including PMP, CCNA, CCNP and HCNA. My continued interest in technology, artificial intelligence and automation reflects my commitment to learning, innovation and finding better ways to solve business problems.

I also bring experience in sales consulting, business strategy, marketing and business development. These disciplines inform my approach to building brands, understanding customers, improving operations and helping entrepreneurs think more strategically about growth.

I believe that the most effective business leaders are willing to keep learning, adapt to change and draw insights from different fields.

My Philosophy

I believe that education should do more than transfer knowledge. It should expand perspective, develop confidence and prepare people to apply what they learn.
