Giving is an Act of Worship

• "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." – Hebrews 13:16

God is the Ultimate Source of Provision

• "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." – Philippians 4:19

• "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights..." – James 1:17

Giving is a Demonstration of Trust

• "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse...Test me in this,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.'" – Malachi 3:10

• "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." – Matthew 6:33

• "And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box...A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny...she, out of her poverty, has put in everything she had, all she had to live on." – Mark 12:41-44
