The School Clinic aims to strategically implement the paperless approach on delivering the services at the school clinic. As the clinic advances to this approach, here are the services that we will provide to the students, faculty and staff members of Green Valley College:
1. Electronic Submission of Requirements and Signing of Consent
The consent for treatment and management for emergent cases, academic requirements, On-the-Job-Training Laboratory Requirements and Physical Assessments (if necessary) is signed electronically.
All the documents needed such as but not limited to, picture, copy of vaccination card, laboratory results (if applicable) are submitted online.
Faculty and Staff members will also submit their annual requirements online at the end of the academic year.
2. Pre-booking of Appointments
Medical Consultation with the School Physician is conducted once a month. Students, Faculty and Staff Members are required to pre-book an appointment and the Clinic Staff will be communicating with the students, faculty and staff who have pre-prebooked a week prior to the consultation. There are two ways of consultation at the clinic: 1. Teleconsultation - this is when the School Physician is not available to come to the School Clinic; the Clinic Staff will be calling the patient via phone and will set a conference call with the Physician, School Nurse and the patient. This is also applicable to the students, faculty and staff who are offshore studying and reporting for work. They will be consulted through teleconsultation. 2. Actual consultation - in the event that the School Physician is available to consult on-site, the students, faculty and staff members will be consulted at the school clinic; however, those who have pre-booked and are not able to come to the School Clinic for the actual consultation, teleconsultation will be utilized.
