Here at Green Pastures Holistic Center LLC, you book an appointment for a certain amount of time and that wellness time is completely customizable to meet your individual needs. Time recommendations and pairing suggestions are provided, but feel free to choose a little of this and a little of that! If you are not sure what service(s) may be best for your needs, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your goals and recommend a plan.

Reiki is a Japanese word that, loosely translated, means "spiritually guided universal life energy." It is a healing technique based on the principle that the Reiki practitioner can channel and transfer the universal life energy into the client through the means of touch, to stimulate the body's own innate wisdom to heal at the cause of the problem. A particular hands-on pattern is used, which is gentle, non-manipulative, and non-invasive. Reiki induces a generalized relaxation response, often associated with deep sleep, meditation, and hypnosis. At Green Pastures Holistic Center, we practice a faith-based version of Reiki, which is why we typically refer to it as "energy-work" rather than Reiki.

Typically, we find that both body and energy work are effective at opening the blocked chakras, allowing the energy of your body to flow freely, leading to improved emotional harmony, physical well-being, mental clarity, and spiritual growth, providing an overall sense of balance. If any chakras remain blocked at the end of your visit, information will be provided as to how you can work on opening them on your own.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves the application of pressure to specific reflex points on the feet and/or hands. Each reflex point corresponds to a specific organ, gland, or body part. Reflexology is based on the premise that there is vital energy that is circulating between organs of the human body that penetrates into every living cell. When this energy is blocked or someone has a trigger area in a particular organ, a reflexologist can apply pressure to the corresponding reflex using certain thumb and finger techniques to break the uric acid crystals down, dissipate the energy blocks, connect with the peripheral nervous system, relieve the corresponding pain in the body, and subsequently encourage the body to relax and for healing to occur. We also welcome soon-to-be-mamas with our fabulous prenatal massage (must be in 2nd or 3rd trimester)! All massage sessions include use of aromatherapy and hot towels.
