This van went out early on May 15th: 5 days ago we confirmed a recipient. However once informing her, we learned that due to the car she was living in had beeg taken back days prior, she was out of funds, in a cheap motel, and two days from being on the streets. We decided to bus her over to Ohio, and have her take the van, bringing it back in for set build times. She was able to try it out at the Buckeye rest areas overnight, and this worked well for quite easy changes.
She receives partial disability from a DV case years ago, yet she also works at a gas station, despite suffering homelessness for months. Her boss allowed her very limited time off work, but enough for us to complete the build.
