Who We Are

Greenhaven Artists is a Rye, NY collective of female creatives — painters, photographers, sculptors, florists, illustrators, and writers.

It started small: in November 2023, a few local artists connected over a neighborhood chat post and met for coffee. That led to a first show with 5 artists. By May 2024, an open-studio event across four Greenhaven homes drew 19 artists. Since then, the group has kept growing, including a show at The Rye Arts Center with 14 artists.

Founding members: Belkis Hull, Fleur Spolidor, Anike Wariebi, Sandra Doherty, Anik McGrory, Helen Roy, Cécile Roberfroid. — now joined by a growing roster of artists across mediums.

Gallery space is hard to come by, so the group finds its own: homes, open studios, and community art spaces — staying rooted in Rye while building ties across the wider Westchester arts scene.

  2. To work towards events to showcase, educate and celebrate female art.

  3. To participate, where relevant, in the local art discourse and participate in smaller exhibitions and collaborations that align with our mission.
