Meeting Minutes

Welcome & Opening Remarks

Green Acres Staff Announcements 

• Fully staffed with the exception of paras
  Teachers are very appreciative of the welcome lunch-too much food. Goldenrod was overly generous. 

• The Vegan meal was great. 

• A flyer was sent out to staff for volunteer hours. 

• The board will meet for a few minutes after to clarify additional questions. 

• Would the PTG consider buying a subscription to Super Teacher-it is no longer a part of the school budget. 

• The cost is $375 per year. 

Event Recap & Feedback 

1. Kindergarten play date 8/23 -Went very well. The second one rained out. The final one was inside. Only Mrs. Lynch was able to attend. Many people came to the event not knowing their teacher, however, a class list was available. 

2. Meet and greet 9/2 -shirt sales were great. $1100 for shirts and sold was just over $940 

Mr. Beaulac did not want it to be a fundraiser.

3. Spirit shop 9/11 -lots of volunteers. Yielded $347.77 -$22.00 on squishy reimbursement. 

The next date is 10/2 & 10/23, 11/20, 12/11 or 12/18.

The date for the school concert is Thursday 12/17. -Is there a possible movie night planned the week prior  

4. School Shirts - see above. 

Upcoming Events 

Confirm with Y and Mr. Beaulac for time changes and space usage - sign up genius log in or some type of sign up procedure. 

1. Back to school game night 9/28 

2. Candy drive starts 10/14  and ends on 10/21- top class is getting a popcorn party -One winner per wing . Counted and tallied by piece. 

3. Trunk or treat 10/22 5:30-6:30 -no concessions . Trunks to arrive around 4:30-5:00 PM

Business sponsors: Subaru dealership, possibly McDonalds, Eastern propane- Amber is going to contact Mac’s Apples who gave a donation of pumpkins and apples . Consider reaching out to Stoneyfield.  Consider doing Plinko board and some type of activity board. 

4. Dolly drink cart 9/25 -Jill has a wig and a costume. The cart will serve drinks  to raise staff morale and support kids. 

Monthly cart in lieu of a full teacher appreciation week. “Thanking you out of the Blue” (cart idea) 

5. November- movie night 

Concessions: 

Waters, no to chips-they expire too fast

New Business 

Website- would Mr. Beaulac is able to send out the PTG website and after website review. Irene will email Mr. Beaulac the link.

3. Dine out for Oct -possibly considering Chuck E. Cheese. September five guys dine out 9/29. -20% 

6. Next meeting: October 6, 2026 6-7 PM

Questions: a fourth grade committee has been formed. Shauna & Rachel-current fourth grade budget. 

Current fourth grade budget - $440 the budget and fourth grade tab will be updated. Fundraisers: Bingo night, dave busters, candy grams 

A sub-committee will form for Trunk or Treat.
