Are you a teacher? A student? A parent? Maybe a Girl Scout, or a troop leader? Maybe anyone in between? These lessons and plans are for you!
Water is the most important thing in the world. Without it, none of us would be alive. And yet, education about water quality--and the importance of water and wetland ecosystems--is under covered in today's youth.
We all can (and must) unlearn destructive habits and attitudes towards water to protect the ecosystems around us. But what would it be like if we were all taught this from a young age? In partnership with the Twin Cities Green Crew's Early Learning Forestry (ELF) program and the Isaak Walton League of America (IWLA), these are lesson plans for kids about water and it's importance.
