Foreign Affairs

The Empire of Greater Cavagnial maintains diplomatic relationships with many nations, yet only a select few are recognized as true partners in the Imperial mission. As of January 28th, 2026, the following nations are Mutually Recognized:

• The Empire of Karnia-Ruthenia

• The Kingdom of Pontchartrain-Maurepas

• The Grand Electorates of Ouemessourit

• The Princely Republic of Tresca

• The Crown of Vassland

• The New York Federation

Mutual recognition is a solemn and deliberate commitment. Regular, professional diplomatic dialogue is expected to sustain this status. Recognition is not granted lightly, and nations seeking acknowledgment are encouraged to review the Empire’s foreign policy guidelines. Frivolous requests from unestablished or low quality micronations are not accepted, and the Empire does not enter formal military alliances, which are considered impractical and unattainable.

Beyond formal recognition, the Empire maintains Friends of the Empire nations that have unilaterally declared their support for the Empire. Friendship carries no obligations or benefits beyond acknowledgment, so long as the association does not harm the Empire’s interests. These Include: N/A

Through these tiers of diplomacy Mutual Recognition, Friendship, and Informal Relations the Empire balances principled sovereignty with engagement, fostering respect, cultural exchange, and measured cooperation with the broader micronational and global community.
