This is probably the project that's gone off with the least amount of issues, setbacks, and general problems. I do attribute that somewhat to it being a short project, really more of a prototype than a proper game, but also everyone worked hard and did a fantastic job. I really liked the concept for this project, our challenge was to come up with a game that could provide interactive game elements for a Twitch chat to participate in while they watched a streamer play. We came up with our mechanic after watching a bunch of streams and concluding that since chats often like watching their streamer struggle, we should develop a game where chat itself is making the game more difficult for the streamer.
I think personally I ended up learning a lot about the process of other roles and what it looks like when everything comes together. I worked very closely with a gameplay designer and level designer to make sure our design was super tight and everything was intentionally crafted and I think that in this project more than any other we succeeded in actually achieving the gameplay feel we were aiming for. I guess now that I have that little taste of heaven I'm going to go the rest of my career desperately trying to find another project where things just click knowing it will probably never happen.
