Welcome to the Grangerland Intermediate Orchestra Website! I am so excited for you to be a part of our orchestra community! Here you will find our handouts, weekly agenda, calendar, weekly newsletter, and more! Please feel free to contact Ms. Miller if your question is not answered through our website!

The Grangerland Intermediate Orchestra is composed of two performing groups: 5th Grade Beginning Orchestra (Students must be in 5th Grade) and 6th Grade Intermediate Orchestra (Students must be in 6th Grade). 

The 5th Grade Beginning Orchestra participates in our Winter String Fling and our Spring Concert. 

The 6th Grade Intermediate Orchestra participates in our Fall District Honor Orchestra Audition (optional), the Winter String Fling, Spring Solo and Ensemble Contest (optional), Spring Honor Orchestra Clinic (For Students who are selected from the Fall Honor Orchestra Audition), a Spring Festival Trip, and the Spring Concert. Students have the option of renting their instrument of choice (Violin/Viola/Cello/Bass) from one of our trusted rental companies or a lesser quality instrument from Grangerland Intermediate for a set annual fee. More information under the "Instrument Rental Info." tab.
