Once approved follow these steps to join the coaching staff:

Steps to Get Your USA Wrestling Coaching Card:

1. Create/Log in to your Profile: Go to the USA Wrestling Membership System to create or renew a profile.

2. Purchase Wrestling Leader Membership: Purchase the "Wrestling Leader" membership, which includes insurance and eligibility to coach.

3. Complete Background Check: A mandatory background screening is required for all coach members.

4. Complete SafeSport Training: This is a required, free training to ensure athlete safety.

5. Get NCEP Certification: Take the required coaching certification courses (e.g., Copper or Bronze) under the "Manage" tab in your profile.

6. Complete Concussion Training: This is typically required for on-floor coaching.

7. Print Membership Card: Once all requirements are met, you can print your card from your profile.

Important Information:

Validity: The membership year runs from September 1 to August 31.

Coaches' Passes: You must have your card and a valid photo ID to purchase a coach's pass for tournaments.

Required Certifications: Copper Certification is usually for youth, while Bronze is required for coaching older athletes.
