Co-Head Coach / President of the Board
Bryan Safratowich is the Co-Head Coach and President of the Board for the Grand Forks Gladiators. Bryan wrestled for the Hettinger Black Devils in highschool and was a Class B state placer and helped the Black Devils win a Class B team state title. Bryan is also the Assistant Head Wrestling Coach at Grand Forks Central. Bryan works for USDA at the Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center.
Co-Head Coach / Vice President of the Board
Garrett Litzinger has been a coach and athlete for the Grand Forks Gladiators Wrestling Club in some capacity since 2000. He is currently the Co-Head Coach and Vice President of the Board. He wrestled for Grand Forks Central from 2010-2014 and was a Class A state placer. After he wrestled for Northland Community and Technical College from 2014-2015. Litzinger is currently the Head Wrestling Coach at Grand Forks Central. He currently teaches at Valley Middle School.
Head Girls Coach
Coach Brady Terrill wrestled for Grand Forks Central in high school where he became a 220 pound Class A state champion and three time state placer. Coach Terrill is a Co-Head Coach of the Grand Forks Knightriders team. He is currently a graphic designer.
Secretary of the Board
Coach Matt Ahmann wrestled for the Williston Coyotes in high school where he was a two time state placer. Coach Ahmann previous coached at South Middle School in Grand Forks from 1994-1996. He has been with the Gladiators since 2016. He is currently working for Bell Insurance Agency.
Assistant Coach & At Large Board Member
Coach Jeremy Such is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt and is a Jiu Jitsu, striking, and Mixed Martial Arts coach at Progressive Mixed Martial Arts. He currently works for Atos as a Senior Computer Technician.
Treasurer of the Board
Todd Olson is the outlier of our club's leadership, having never wrestled in high school. He instead spent his youth playing football at Grand Forks Red River and Mayville State University. Todd's club role involves being Treasurer of our Board. Through his involvement, Todd hopes to support our club administratively, in turn showing that there are various ways for club parents to become involved. Todd works as a Corporate Financial Analyst for Choice Bank.
Assistant Coach
Coach Robert Sauter wrestled for Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop High School. After high school he would wrestle for the University of Minnesota Morris. Coach Sauter was the East Grand Forks Wrestling Club Head Coach from 2015 until the merger. Coach Sauter is a Potato Inspection Supervisor at the North Dakota State Seed Department.
Assistant Coach
Coach Matt Forster wrestled for Litchfield, MN in highschool where he was a two time state placer. He took fourth place in 1999 and second place in 2001. Coach Forester was also nationally ranked while in highschool. He was also inducted into Litchfield's hall of fame in 2025. His past coaching experience includes coaching for the East Grand Forks Wrestling Club from 2018 until our merger. He is currently a Cardiac Sonographer at Altru.
Head Youth Preseason & Youth Duals Coach
Coach Konickson wrestled for Red Lake County and went to school in Plumber, MN in highschool. He has been a dedicated coach for the Grand Forks Gladiators for years. His boys Levi and Caleb are both great wrestlers currently in the club and his wife Alyssa has been a very active helping the club with communications and planning.

Devry Gryder wrestled for Grand Forks Central in high school. He is currently a student at UND pursuing degrees in nursing and psychology. Coach Gryder is also apart of the North Dakota National Guard.

Nina Sandoval is from Arizona, where she was a three tme state placer, two time state champ and given the honor of USA Today's Female Wrestler of the Year (2020-2021) along with a nomination for the 2021-2022 season. Nina graduated from Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, AZ as a 4x Fargo qualifier, 2x UWW All-American, and national rankings for he weight in Freestyle (9th) and Folkstyle (16th). She continued her wrestling and academic careers at Minot State University where she was qualified for the NCWWC national tournament as a true freshman by taking third in region 5. Nina finished off her junior season ranked 18th in the nation for her weight (The OpenMat.com). This semester, she is at UND to finish her academic program in Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) as per Minot State's MLS collaborative curriculum with UND.

Coach Morgan is has dedicated years of service to our athletes. He has a son, Liam, who has wrestled for many years. Coach Morgan is a great example of what all volunteer dads can be!

Todd is the current owner of IPS in Grand Forks. He also trains and competes at PMA in BJJ.

Matt Berglund was a two-time state champion for Valley City High School who was ranked third in the country by Amateur Wrestling News at his weight. He was a national qualifier as a freshman at Valley City State University before an injury ended his competitive career. After one year as assistant at Valley City, he was the head coach at Grand Forks Central for 17 years, leading the Knights to several state tournament appearances. Coach Berglund then chose to coach middle school wrestling in Grand Forks for five years before returning to the high school levels as the Co-Head coach of the Grand Forks Knightriders for the past three seasons. Matt is currently an English teacher at GFC.
