The Infant Room provides a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes early development through daily activities tailored to the individual needs of each child. At Granbury Prep Preschool & Childcare, we are proud to incorporate early bilingual exposure into our infant classroom. Through dual-language books, Spanish songs, simple vocabulary words, and everyday conversational modeling by our bilingual teachers, infants are gently introduced to both English and Spanish in a natural, meaningful way. Early exposure to multiple languages strengthens brain development, listening skills, and cultural awareness from the very beginning.
Each day includes intentional routines such as circle time, where infants are gently introduced to early language, music, and predictable daily rhythms. Individual skills activities support sensory exploration and developmental milestones, while sign language and art experiences encourage early communication and creativity. Infants also enjoy supervised outdoor time to safely explore their surroundings and engage their senses.
Music, sing-alongs, movement, and simple exercises provide opportunities for auditory stimulation, social interaction, and physical development. With regular diaper checks, nutritious meals, and restful naps built into the schedule, our infant classroom maintains a healthy balance of care, play, and rest—creating a secure, loving environment where infants can grow and thrive.

Our toddler program is guided by the Frog Street Curriculum, a research-based program designed to meet toddlers where they are developmentally while encouraging curiosity and confidence.
At Granbury Prep Preschool & Childcare, we intentionally incorporate bilingual learning opportunities into our toddler classroom. Through dual-language books, Spanish and English songs, vocabulary-rich conversations, and interactive bilingual flashcards, children are exposed to both languages in meaningful, developmentally appropriate ways. Our bilingual teachers model everyday language naturally throughout routines and play, helping toddlers build early language skills while fostering cultural awareness and cognitive growth.
Through a balanced blend of structured activities, purposeful play, and outdoor exploration, toddlers participate in daily story time, songs, and interactive read-alouds that build early language skills and foster a love of books. Hands-on experiences such as finger painting, stacking blocks, sensory bins, and early writing activities strengthen fine motor skills and coordination.
Children engage in circle time, music and movement, sensory play, and gross motor activities that promote cognitive growth, communication, and physical development. With consistent routines and nurturing teacher support, the Toddler Classroom creates a positive learning environment where children feel secure, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

The Pre-K Classroom is designed to build strong school-ready skills for children preparing to enter kindergarten. Instruction is guided by the Frog Street Curriculum, a comprehensive, research-based program that supports early literacy, math, social-emotional development, and self-regulation.
At Granbury Prep Preschool & Childcare, bilingual learning is intentionally woven into our Pre-K program. During daily circle time, students participate in structured Spanish learning experiences that introduce foundational vocabulary, greetings, colors, numbers, shapes, calendar concepts, and conversational phrases. Through bilingual books, songs, classroom labeling, and guided teacher modeling, children build confidence hearing and using both English and Spanish in meaningful contexts. Early exposure to a second language strengthens cognitive flexibility, memory, problem-solving skills, and cultural awareness—valuable tools for kindergarten and beyond.
Each day follows a structured routine that balances academic learning, creative exploration, and physical activity. Activities such as circle time, storytime, early writing, and phonological awareness lessons strengthen literacy skills, while hands-on math experiences, art projects, and manipulatives support problem-solving and fine motor development. Learning centers encourage exploration, collaboration, and independent thinking across multiple subject areas.
Outdoor play, movement, and games promote physical development and teamwork, while consistent restroom routines and classroom expectations foster independence and responsibility. With a strong emphasis on early academics, bilingual language development, social-emotional growth, and self-management skills, the Pre-K classroom prepares children for a successful transition to kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
