We are Dr. Kady & Eddie Donaghey, proud owners of Granbury Prep PreSchool & Childcare. With a deep-rooted belief in the power of early childhood education, we are also the long-time owners of Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare, which we have successfully operated for over 10 years. This experience guides our commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and enriching space where children can thrive.

Dr. Kady Donaghey has dedicated her career to education, beginning as an agriculture teacher before serving as an assistant principal, principal, and now a district administrator in a local school district. Her expertise in curriculum development, leadership, and student success helps ensure Granbury Prep operates with the highest standards of care and learning.

Eddie Donaghey is a high school teacher in a neighboring district with a passion for mentoring students and preparing them for the future. His dedication to education extends beyond the classroom, influencing the supportive and structured environment we provide at Granbury Prep.

Our mission at Granbury Prep PreSchool & Childcare is to create a learning environment that feels like home—where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore and learn. We take pride in partnering with families to build a strong educational foundation for every child. Eddie and Kady have three children—Raeleigh, Zane, and Leyton—who attend Tolar ISD schools.

Granbury Prep Director- JaQUELINE Villafranco- "Ms. Jackie"

Jackie Villafranco serves as the Center Director at Granbury Prep Preschool & Childcare and brings over seven years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in Child Life Specialist certification and has a deep passion for supporting children’s growth and development during their most formative years.

As Director, Jackie oversees daily operations, staff development and training, and curriculum implementation to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and care. She is a strong advocate for play-based learning and believes that meaningful, hands-on experiences are essential to promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Jackie is especially passionate about partnering with families to build a warm, welcoming community where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore and discover the world around them.

Director of Operations- Angela Sloan- "Auntie"

At Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare and Granbury Prep PreSchool & Childcare, we are proud to have Angela Sloan serving as our Director of Operations. Angela plays a vital role in ensuring both centers run smoothly, overseeing daily operations, office management, and food program coordination with exceptional care and attention to detail.

With strong organizational skills and a warm, approachable demeanor, Angela supports our families and staff by keeping systems organized and communication clear. From managing day-to-day operational needs to ensuring our children receive nutritious, well-coordinated meals, she works behind the scenes to keep both centers operating efficiently and effectively.

Angela’s commitment to excellence and her dedication to supporting staff, children, and families shine through in everything she does. We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and the consistency she brings to both Little Rattlers and Granbury Prep, helping create welcoming environments where children can truly thrive.

Director of Teaching and learning- Rosemary Mayfield- "Memaw"

At Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare and Granbury Prep PreSchool & Childcare, we are proud to honor Rosemary Mayfield as our Director of Teaching and Learning. With over 30 years of experience in elementary education, Rosemary has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and creating strong, enriching learning environments.

From 2018 to 2023, Rosemary served as the Director of Little Rattlers, leading with passion, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to early childhood education. Under her leadership, the center flourished, providing a warm, engaging, and high-quality learning experience for every child in our care.

While she has stepped away from her day-to-day director role, Rosemary continues to serve both Little Rattlers and Granbury Prep in an advisory capacity, offering guidance, mentorship, and institutional knowledge that strengthens our programs. She also steps in to substitute and support classrooms as needed, ensuring continuity and excellence across both centers.

Rosemary’s wisdom, dedication, and caring heart remain an invaluable asset to our staff, children, and families. We are deeply grateful for her continued involvement and the lasting impact she has made—and continues to make—on our preschool communities.
