How does Gramfix AI work?
Type or paste your text, select a writing tone, and tap [ FIX GRAMMAR ]. The app uses advanced AI to correct your grammar, spelling, and punctuation instantly.
Is Gramfix AI free?
Yes. You get 25 free grammar fixes every month with a 500-character limit per fix. For unlimited fixes and no character limits, upgrade to Pro for $2.99/month.
What languages are supported?
Gramfix AI supports 9 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Hindi, and Bengali. The entire app interface is localized for each language.
How do I use voice input?
Tap the microphone button on the main screen and speak. The app will transcribe your speech and you can then tap [ FIX GRAMMAR ] to correct it. You must grant microphone and speech recognition permissions when prompted.
What is Diff View?
Diff View shows you a word-by-word comparison of your original text and the corrected text. Removed words are shown with strikethrough in red, and added words are highlighted in green.
What does "Explain" / "Why?" do?
Tap the [ WHY? ] button after a fix to get a detailed explanation of every correction that was made and why it was necessary. This helps you learn and improve your writing.
How do I undo a fix?
You can tap the [ UNDO ] button after a correction, or simply shake your device to revert to your original text.
How do I save a correction?
All corrections are automatically saved to your History. You can also pin important corrections as Favorites by tapping the pin button in the History view.

SUBSCRIPTION HELP
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Tap the upgrade prompt on the main screen or go to Settings and tap "Upgrade to Pro". The subscription is $2.99/month billed through Apple.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device Settings > tap your name (Apple ID) > Subscriptions > select Gramfix AI Pro > tap Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Your Pro subscription will be restored automatically if you have an active subscription on your Apple ID.
I was charged but don't have Pro access.
Try tapping "Restore Purchases" in the app Settings. If that doesn't work, restart the app. If the issue persists, contact us at pradeep.aneesh@gmail.com with your Apple ID email and we will help resolve it.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The app is not correcting my text.
Check your internet connection. Gramfix AI requires an active internet connection to process corrections. If you see a red "No internet connection" banner, wait for connectivity to restore and try again.
Microphone is not working.
Make sure you have granted microphone and speech recognition permissions. Go to your device Settings > Gramfix AI > enable Microphone and Speech Recognition.
The app is slow or unresponsive.
Try closing and reopening the app. If you are correcting very long text, try shorter passages for faster results.
My history disappeared.
History is stored locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, local history cannot be recovered. Favorites and history do not sync across devices.
