Your privacy matters. Gramfix AI is designed with a privacy-first approach. This policy explains how we handle your data.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Gramfix AI does NOT collect, store, or share any personal information.

We do not require account creation. We do not require login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information.

2. TEXT DATA

The text you enter into Gramfix AI is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic Claude API) solely for the purpose of grammar correction. This text is processed in real time and is NOT stored on our servers or any third-party servers after processing is complete.

We do not log, save, or retain any text you submit for correction.

3. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

Your correction history, favorites, preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple Core Data. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.

4. SPEECH RECOGNITION

Gramfix AI offers an optional voice input feature. When you use the microphone, speech recognition is processed using Apple's on-device Speech framework. Audio data is handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. We do not access, store, or transmit any audio recordings.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Gramfix AI offers an optional Pro subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Subscription details:

- Pro Plan: $2.99 USD per month

- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Gramfix AI uses the following third-party service:

Anthropic Claude API — for grammar correction processing only. No personal data is sent to this service. Only the text you submit for correction is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connection. Anthropic's privacy policy can be found at https://www.anthropic.com/privacy

7. ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

Gramfix AI does NOT use any analytics services, tracking tools, advertising SDKs, or data collection frameworks. We do not track your usage, behavior, or any other activity.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Gramfix AI does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

9. DATA SECURITY

All communication between the app and the AI service is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Your text is processed in real time and is not stored after the correction is returned to your device.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
