GradePilot (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the GradePilot mobile application (“the App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
GradePilot does not require user accounts.
We do not collect names, email addresses, or personal profile information to use the App.
All academic data you enter (modules, grades, flashcards, projections, risk settings, etc.) is stored locally on your device.
We do not:
Transmit this data to our servers
Store your grades externally
Access your academic information
If you export a PDF report, the file is generated locally on your device.
GradePilot uses Google Firebase services, including:
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Crashlytics
These services help us improve app stability, performance, and user experience.
Firebase may automatically collect:
Anonymous usage statistics (e.g. screen views, feature interaction)
App performance metrics
Crash reports
Device model and operating system version
App version
Anonymous device identifiers
Approximate location (country level, derived from IP address)
This data:
Is not linked to your identity
Is not used for advertising
Is not sold to third parties
Is not used for cross-app tracking
All data is collected in aggregated or anonymised form.

GradePilot Pro subscriptions (monthly and yearly) are processed securely by Apple via the App Store.
We do not receive or store:
Credit card details
Billing addresses
Payment information
We only receive confirmation from Apple that a subscription is active.

Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time via:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Because your academic data remains stored on your device:
We do not store user academic data in external databases.
We do not transmit your grades to external servers.
Analytics and diagnostic data are handled securely by Google Firebase.
GradePilot is designed for students but does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Since the App does not require accounts or collect personal identity information, no personal profile data is stored by us.
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, users have rights including:
Access to personal data
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of data
Restriction of processing
As GradePilot does not store personal academic data on our servers, most user data remains under the control of the device owner.
