Low Card Grade? Have the cards rehabbed!
Our Story
Story Overview
Graden Cards LLC was started by me at 13, and recently we've been expanding a lot. Graden Cards started in April of 2023 and started mainly just selling baseball cards. As we grew and became a bigger company we started to branch out to other sports cards and after that all sports memorabilia. We plan to keep growing as much as we can and are always looking for some suggestions. When I started to collect cards it was very hard to find any sports card shops near me so I decided to start Graden Cards so everyone around the United States could get their sports memorabilia quick and easy. We are planning to open many different services to add to Graden soon. We try to be the best sports memorabilia store out there. We are based out of Madison, Wisconsin, and would love for you to be our customer.
The card that started it all
The card that started Graden Cards was the card below. The card below is a 2017 Bowman Draft Chrome Bubba Thompson 1st auto PSA 10. This sports card of Bubba Thompson was the first card that I bought and that started the business. I pulled this card and then decided to get the card graded. The reason I got the card in the first place was for my family member. I got this card because it was her favorite player that she saw in baseball, so I decided to get this as a surprise for a present. I pulled the card from a Bowman Baseball box and wanted to see recent listing prices for the fun of it. When I saw some of the current listings at the time I saw that some people listed it for over $100 dollars. Then I obtained the idea to start a business of finding and pulling good cards to sell. Once we started Graden we bought a couple different boxes and kept looking for good cards.
The Reason Graden Started
Another inspiration besides the Bubba card that started Graden was how terrible eBay's customer service is and how much fees other company's take for the seller. We started exclusively on eBay and had many problems on there so that is why I built this website. One of the problems that I encountered was customers bidding on an item then they didn't pay and eBay did nothing about it after contacting them. Another incident that happened with them was when someone decided to return an item because they changed their mind and I accepted it. When I received the package back I got 2 pieces of garbage not the items I sold to the customer. I contacted eBay again and they still wouldn't do anything. For the fees I saw that sites like eBay and others took from the seller and the buyer in major fees. I really didn't think that this was fair at all. So I made a tier system for consignments on the more the consignment sells for the more the more the seller's % is. Like other company's we do have a buyers premium but it is a small 15% compared to other company's that take 20-25%. The buyers premium is included in the price that you pay for the item. Unlike other company's we pride ourselves in our customer service and low prices.
Don't just take my word for it
We hope to some day over take ebay and all of the bad things that do to there buyers and sellers.
According to 60 minutes tv show listen to what ebay has done.
