There are many people I would like to thank for their tremendous help in my journey through the Gold Award process. Notably my family and friends for emotionally supporting me through this long process with the many setbacks of the pandemic. The many individuals within the Girl Scout community including my multiple amazing leaders Kathy Fisher, Donna McGuire, and Caryn Stephens. As well as those on the council level including the Gold Award Committee and my advisor Sarah Wolfe. Cooperative Christian Ministries (CCM) has been absolutely amazing and incredibly patient with my Gold Award process. Particularly I would like to thank Pam Smith for initially setting me up with the organization and with contacts and Kris Edscorn who taught me so much about the food pantry system at CCM. My Church community was also a large support system and help in my Gold Award journey. Lisa Tackett, the Administrative Assistant at my church, helped me to establish ties with CCM and my Pastor Mark Weathers was my Project Advisor that helped to guide me through his extensive experience with community leadership. Andrea Klauss, my neighbor, was an excellent advisor in my cookbook design process. I would also like to thank all of the individuals who participated in recipe testing to make sure that all of the recipes included in the cookbook were of the highest standards. Vilma Perdomo-Seymour and Erika Barahona-Borjorge were a great help when it came to translating the cookbook to Spanish. Those at Minuteman Press were incredibly attentive and helpful when it came to the printing process. In conclusion, I would like to thank you all for making this all possible. You all had a part in impacting someone's life through these cookbooks, thank you.
