My name is Grace Cockrum, and I am currently completing my senior year as an Early Childhood Education major (PK–3) at Louisiana Tech University. I am completing my residency in first grade at Glen View Elementary, where I work closely with my mentor teacher to support students in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
I am passionate about creating a warm and structured learning environment where students feel safe, celebrated, and excited to learn. My teaching style focuses on building strong relationships, providing clear expectations partnered with consistent routines, and using research-based practices to help all students grow.
I believe that every child is capable of success when given the right tools, encouragement, and instruction — and I am committed to being the teacher who ensures that happens.
