Welcome to my site. I joined Department of Plastic Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell as an assistant professor in Fall 2018.

About Grace:

I received my PhD from Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering (ABE) at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). After completing my PhD, I received my postdoctoral training in the School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. This site serves as my online portfolio of research, teaching and outreach/service.

My goals are to develop affordable and competitive renewable energy/material production and waste treatment technologies for the society, to encourage the use of environment-friendly products, and to educate the young generations about the sustainable technology. My research program will also greatly contribute to the development of new multi-disciplinary materials on the topic of biomass conversion, plastic waste recycling, hydrothermal conversion, microplastics, and sustainability analysis.
