The Pastors

We have connection to Pastor Vladimir Ilyukhin and Pastor Valeri Patkevitch Both are Ordained Elders in the United Methodist Church.

Vladimir Ilyukhin is married to Natalia. They have three children

1. Ilya (born 2001)

2. Eugenia married to Katrina They have one child

i. Mikhail (Nov 11, 2015)

3. Ilona ( born July 2015)

Vladimir is the pastor of Hope church, whom we support directly. He has had Hope Church since 2008.

Valeri Patkevitch is pastor of Transfiguration Church. . He is single, and has had his church since about 2001.

Both churches are in Volgograd, Russia

They are part of the Black Soil District (like we are part of the Aurora District), with headquarters in Voronezh.

They are part of the Eurasia Conference (like we are part of the Northern Illinois Conference). This conference covers about seven time zones.

The Eurasia Conference is headquartered in Moscow, in the UMC Seminary building. The bishop is Eduard Khegay, and the Treasurer is Zhanna Kim. She handles our donations to Vladimir.
