Nov. 9, 2024 Awards Banquet was great. We had 32 people participated. It was great to see so many of the new members there. The band, The Silvertones were fantastic. It was fun to be able to sing along. The food, pulled pork and chicken was excellent. Sean Smith did a great job with the meal. We presented the first annual traveling wheel to Al & Gayle Peterson for most participating events on behalf of Sig Baumgart. They will have it for one year. Received many positive comments on the banquet.
If anyone would like to have anything changed, please let Roseanne Lynch or Ruth Esakson know.
Looking forward to next year.
Thanks.
Happy Holidays.

Starting at 10 am, members and their antique cars started arriving. By noon, 24 members and their families were present. A delicious picnic meal was laid out on the table and all enjoyed some good eating. After lunch 5 more members arrived and we had a total of 16 antique cars on display. During the day, everyone enjoyed watching the cruising going on up and down 28th St. Many folks driving by our cars spotted them and pulled in to take a closer look. Dust Off Tour 2024
We started out with 22 members going to participate but many got sick, and we ended up with 14 going. The weather was very sketchy, but the rain held off until on our way home. It started to sprinkle. We made it to the ship 15 minutes late due to a wrong turn but had beautiful scenery along the way.
The LST 393 ship was amazing. Jim and his friend did a great tour. Learn many things about how this ship was used. Great Dog Wall with over 4000 dog names. Took many pictures.
Mr. B's Restaurant food was excellent, and our waitress was amazing. Next came the Trading Post which had many, many vehicles. One vehicle was in the Indiana Jones movie. Many expensive vehicles, but the owner is starting to sell them. He is thinking about retirement.
The Ice Cream stop was cancelled as it was getting late and starting to sprinkle. Everyone said they enjoyed the tour. Roseanne and I did 4 different tours to get 1 final tour as the road construction kept closing our roads.
We thank everyone for coming on the tour.
