The West Michigan Whitecaps edged out the Lansing Lugnuts in a thrilling 6–5 walk‑off win in extra innings. Lansing was held hitless through seven, but late scoring pushed the game into the tenth. A clutch two‑run homer from Beau Ankeney and Samuel Gil’s sacrifice fly sealed the comeback in front of a lively 7,200‑plus crowd at LMCU Ballpark. 

Appreciation goes to Chad and Alexis Thompson for their time, planning, and hospitality.
