Roseanne and I would like to thank everyone who came to the Awards Banquet on November 4, 2023. We had 39 people participated. The Swiss Steak and chicken was great along with all the other items. It was great to see Sig and Margie Baumgart there. The music was fabulous and many wanted them to come back. It's a great way to end the year. If there is anything that you would like to see different, please let us know.
Thanks again.

Metro Cruise Report
By Leon DeLange
On August 26, 2023, on a beautiful day, sun shining, with a gentle breeze, and temperatures in the middle 70s, the GRACC gathered for the Metro Cruise at the corner of Kalamazoo and 28th St in the parking lot of the Christian Reformed Church building. Starting at 10 am, members and their antique cars started arriving. By noon, 19 members and their families were present. (This is the lowest attendance we have ever had). A delicious picnic meal was laid out on the table and all enjoyed some good eating. After lunch 4 more members arrived and we had a total of 10 antique cars on display. During the day, everyone enjoyed watching the cruising going on up and down 28th St. Many folks driving by our cars spotted them and pulled in to take a closer look. A great time was had by those in attendance.

Dust off Tour 2023 is over for another year. We were a little disappointed that more people couldn't make it. We left the New Beginnings Restaurant and headed towards Lansing. Picked up the Swift's on 84th street. The trip went well until we almost made it to Grand Ledge when Adam and Tammy Gordon's 1932 car broke down. He had to have it put on a flat bead truck and taken home. The rest of us continued onto Meijer's for a restroom stop. When we left there we loss another vehicle. We still continued on to the RE Olds Museum. At the museum we met a group of antique car club members called the Classic Car who were from Detroit. They had nice antique cars there.
We headed next to the Culver's Restaurant and then onto the last stop, The Ice Cream Caboose. We had a little rain on and off mostly on the way home.
Roseanne and Ruth are grateful for the ones that did go and wonder if the club still wants to do tours.
Let us know.
Thanks everyone for going along.
Ruth
