Government Polytechnic, Vadnagar was established in the year 2003  by the Government of Gujarat under Directorate of Technical Education of Gujarat state to promote Technical Education.It is located in Heritage city Vadnagar . The institute offers five different diploma programme affiliated with Gujarat Technological University(GTU).
