Applied Mechanics Department of this Institute is very much rich in faculties and laboratory facilities. All the faculty members are highly qualified and having a vast teaching experience ranging from 11 years to 25 years. Faculties and supporting staffs are completely dedicated towards academic responsibilities as well as committed for the progress of the Institute.
Applied Mechanics Laboratory is mainly divided in four major categories i.e. (1) Engineering Mechanics Lab. (2) Strength of Material Lab. (3) Soil Engineering Lab. And (4) Concrete Technology Lab. All the labs are equipped with required precise and modern equipments like Digital UTM -400 KN and Digital Compression Testing Machine -2000 KN capacity.
With these facilities Department is not only capable to perform all the practicals but also capable Material Testing work and Consultancy work in the field of Structural and Soil Engineering.
Department is helpful to students in their project work related to structural engineering. Department is also imparting extra knowledge of structural engineering software to needy students. All these put the Students very much aligned with today's needs for Modern Construction Industry and helpful for their bright carrier.
