This summer the library is launching three new book clubs for elementary, middle, and high school students.
The book clubs will read books from the 2018-2019 Battle of the Books list for each age group.
Meetings will be held at the library on Thursdays at 4:00 PM in our newly renovated meeting room.
Multiple copies of books will be available at the library - stop by to check out a copy or call 336-449-6455 to reserve one now!
Elementary BOB Book Club
Meets on the 4th thursday of each month at 4 PM during the summer.
First meeting is June 28th to discuss How to Steal a Dog by Barbara O'Connor.
Middle School BOB Book Club
Meets one thursday of each month at 4 PM during the summer.
First meeting is July 5th to discuss Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson.
High School BOB Book Club
Meets on the 2nd thursday at 4 PM during the summer.
First meeting is July 12th to discuss Blood Done Sign My Name by Timothy Tyson.
There are also book discussion opportunities for adults this summer at the library for a variety of interests!
Alamance Reads Summer 2018
Alamance Reads is a civic event designed to encourage reading and significant conversation among Alamance County citizens by gathering people around a common book and providing a shared reading experience.

Gentle Reads Book Club
The Gentle Reads Book Club meets on the third Wednesday each month, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. “Gentle Reads” include a variety of books that “won’t make you blush,” including cozy mysteries, inspiring stories, and general fiction. For older teens/adults.
