The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted as per the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee is responsible for creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment in the institute by addressing complaints of sexual harassment and ensuring gender equality.
Objectives
To prevent and address incidents of sexual harassment at the workplace and campus.
To create awareness among staff and students about gender sensitivity and dignity.
To ensure fair, timely, and confidential redressal of complaints.
To maintain a safe and harassment-free learning and working environment.
Scope of Complaints
Any complaint related to sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination.
Misconduct affecting dignity and safety of women in the workplace/academic environment.
Mechanism of Redressal
Complaints can be submitted in writing or through the designated ICC email/portal.
The committee will acknowledge and review the complaint while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Inquiry will be conducted in line with legal provisions and institutional guidelines.
Recommendations and appropriate actions will be communicated in a time-bound manner.
