A "Red Ribbon" member identifies someone who has just joined the club. In order to move from Red Ribbon status to become a regular member, several initial actions need to be completed. After they are completed, the move to regular membership is formalized with a "Red Ribbon-cutting" ceremony. The Red Ribbon checklist includes the following actions:
Attendance at a minimum of six Woodstock Rotary Club meetings
Attendance at a Board of Directors meeting
Visit to another Rotary Club with Sponsor or other Rotary Member
Sign-up for a Club Committee
Participate in a Club Activity
Attendance at an orientation meeting, where club activities and the purpose of Rotary is discussed
Introduce yourself to Woodstock Rotary Club members at a regular weekly meeting
Sit with at least four different tables for regular weekly meetings to get to know club members.
Sign up to be a host for a weekly program
