Passports
Passport regulations are always changing. Make sure you are up to date by visiting the US Passport website. When do you need a Passport? Any time you are traveling outside of the US. If you are cruising and you debark from a US city you do NOT need a Passport, however, they are strongly encouraged.
U. S. Department of State Travel Warnings
The State Department’s Office of American Citizens Services and Crisis Management (ACS) administers the Consular Information Program, which informs the public of conditions abroad that may affect their safety and security. Country Specific Information, Travel Alerts, and Travel Warnings are vital parts of this program. Click here to see current warnings.
World Clock
Curious what time it is in your dream destination? Check out the world clock to see just how far ahead, or behind they are. While you're there be sure to see what the weather will be like when you are traveling.
Currency
We recommend using a credit card with no foreign transaction fees while traveling. Resist getting your currency exchanged in advance. Stateside exchange rates are very high. When you are planning your trip avoid having a lot of unused currency left over when you cross borders between countries that use different currencies. Know which countries prefer to deal with cash - for example Italy. Plan your withdrawals carefully as this will help you minimize withdrawal fees.
