-There are four subcategories for delegate awards:
Best Delegate: this award is given to delegates that demonstrate the best research and leadership skills. A best delegate must be diplomatic, friendly, ambitious, and most importantly stand out!
Outstanding Delegate: this award is given to delegates that demonstrate wonderful research skills and are striving to lead their bloc. An outstanding delegate will be highly participative and try to join blocs to reach his or her goal.
Honorable Mention: this award is given to delegates that proved to be highly resourceful throughout the debate. Delegates that receive an honorable mention are most likely very productive and are working to stand out from the group.
Best Bill Award: this award goes to the delegate that is able to create a complete, detailed bill that is able to cover multiple issues. This award recognizes the hard work and dedication the delegate put into writing the bill. It only applies to Congress.
-The decision of who receives which award is under the Chairs' discretion. The Senate and the House will most likely have two best delegates, two outstanding delegates, and two honorable mentions, to represent opposite blocs. This depends on the number of delegates in each chamber. There will only be one Best Bill per Congress chamber.
-Evaluation System:
Congress Members will be evaluated by their Chair on their law-making actions inside the respective sub-committee, as well as their leadership capabilities on their Chamber's floor.
Cabinet Members will be evaluated on their creativity, research, leadership, private actions, and quick-thinking throughout the debate.
*To apply for this award, please contact the Secretariat via e-mail with the names of the delegates inside the delegation*
The Best Delegation award is an award given out to the school or organization that collectively receives the most amount of awards. This means that there is a higher likelihood of winning this award by registering multiple delegates under a single delegation.
The Best Delegation award is calculated with the value of each award and the amount of delegates in the delegation.
Delegations cannot be smaller than four delegates. There is no maximum.
