I have a desktop and a laptop, both running Windows 10. I had no problem installing the desktop app on the Desktop machine, but it fails when I try to install on the Laptop. After a very long time (nearly an hour) I get the message "Care: Sorry! Opener has stopped. We cannot create a folder for the Opener on your computer. This is due to lack of disk space or permissions." I have 127 GB free. How can I check the permissions?

@Swegnson On the problem laptop, try to save the GoTo files first. Once the download is complete, either 'unblock' the GoTo opener from within the preferences there, or right-click to 'run as admin' instead.

No, the GoToMeeting application is not listed in the Windows volume mixer. I see my Bluetooth headphones and laptop speakers. Adjusting the system volume does not change the volume in my Bluetooth headset when I'm in a meeting. No other PC volume (like YouTube) will play on my headphones while GoTo has an active meeting. As soon as I end the meeting, I can listen to system sounds and control the volume through normal Windows volume.

From our experience, it's not the driver. It's a combination of CPU and video (GPU). All our laptops have 2 core / 4 thread i5 or i7 (atleast 6th gen or higher) with built-in intel video and they suffer when doing desktop sharing. The laptops with i7 quad core and dicrete videos do not have any issues screen sharing.

Since all of these teleconferences are on the same machine (a Lenovo T430 laptop hooked up to our videoconferencing system) it could well be a hardware or driver issue, or some other problem specific to this machine.

If you're on a desktop, make sure your webcam is connected. If you're on a laptop, the device most likely has a webcam built-in already. Either way, when you're set, simply click the camera icon to start sharing your video.

Follow the installation wizard to install it on your computer. After you completed the installation, it will have a shortcut icon on your computer, open it to start the GoToMeeting on your computer/laptop.

I'm using it on Ubuntu 18.04 and in Chrom{e}{ium}. The image is OK but the sound does not work (I cannot use the laptop speakers/mic). With sound on the phone I can see the shared screens etc. but I would call their Linux support pretty poor. ff782bc1db
