Welcome to Gorla (NeuroWeave) Lab!

 Gorla Lab studies how neurons navigate complex environments, how dynamic cell-surface signaling directs connectivity, and how neuron-glia interactions shape circuit formation, remodeling, and function. By integrating biochemistry, advanced imaging, genetic approaches, and hiPSC-derived 2D and 3D neuronal models, we aim to uncover the fundamental principles that build, maintain, and reshape neural networks in health and disease.
