Dr. Gopinath Purushothaman

Gopinath completed his Ph.D. from the dept. of organic chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2011. He then moved to Tokyo, Japan, to work as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Microbial Chemistry with Prof. Shibasaki and later moved to Columbia University, New York, U.S.A, to work as a postdoctoral research scientist in the chemistry department with Prof. Ronald Breslow. Presently, he is an associate professor in the chemistry department at IISER-Tirupati.
